What I Did This Spring

Day

Journal

Daddy’s been really delayed in getting around to all the things I did.  I did a lot, I write about it, I take pictures, and he just WAITS until it’s the right time for him.  Not fair!

At any rate…

More zoo, more fun at Kinderberry, and a couple of new things I never did before.  Since I’m five now, I can keep up with everyone, shorter naps, and understand most of what Mommy and Daddy are trying to say.  They S..P..E..L..L  things, and I’m working on that one.

I know my numbers up to 100 (and slightly beyond).

I know all my letters.

I know Target has toys.

I know Daddy is more likely to buy me toys at Target.

First – The best part was that I started to learn how to skate!

I want from “no way” to “Get out of my way” in a few short weekends.

All for playing HOCKEY next year.

Lots of practice.

Occasional spectacular accidents.

There was a birthday.  I turned 5.  Cake, Ice cream, presents, parties.

I had to nap 4+ hours just to get over the fun.

All my buds were there for the fun.

We had a lot of fun at Eagle’s Nest

I got to play for hours, and was completely worn out at the end.

What a day!

Daddy and I also got some winter Zoo time in.  It’s not San Diego, but it’s a pretty good zoo.  Hard to have it all in a zoo when it’s -20 outside!

Towards the end of the winter, I was getting really good at skating.

They have you do all sorts of things to keep your balance.  My accidents were far less spectacular.

This was of course between trips to see my Gophers.  However, we kinda had a rough season.

Still love to go and watch hockey.

And eat pizza.

And eat pretzels.

And eat Ice Cream.

Daddy says the three worst words to hear at a hockey game are

“Daddy, I’m hungry.”

We had another visit to the circus this winter.  Many of the same favorites, plus some new acts.  I got some time on the animals.

My and my buddy Lauren at the “I am Special” year-end talent extravaganza.

Me and my buddies at Kinderberry.  Padres got top billing this year.

My last preschool pictures

My Skating Lessons (70MB)

Daddy says the good stuff starts 3:30 through – I say that’s where it starts hurting.
