| We already know there will be a family trip in August. However, Daddy can’t wait. And I’m always his little helper.
· 3 days at Disneyland
· 1 day at Sea World
· 1 day at the San Diego Zoo
· 1 day at the Wild Animal Park
· 4 Padre games.
· On the bad side, I really only took 1 nap. Daddy was very tired at the end.

A Grant joke – 4 days in the making…..
The setup….
In touring Disneyland, we eagerly looked on the construction in Tomorrowland. For those needing background, the wonderful Submarine Voyage was closed in September of 1999, standing empty for nearly 8 years.
Two years ago, construction started on its replacement: “Finding Nemo.” Needless to say, anything will be an addition (over the current nothing). Rumor has it, the ride will be fantastic.
At any rate, Grant asked me what was going on.
I explained that the Submarines he saw were going to go out and “find’ Nemo. We’d be able to go on it the next time we’re at Disneyland
That got him very excited. And thinking…..

Sunday afternoon. Padres Baseball. No better place to be on the planet.
Sunday is normally Armed Forces day – a contingent of Army/Navy/Marines is always on hand, and fans salute midway through the third inning.
Grant notices the platoon of Marines.
Grant - “Daddy – What are those?”
Daddy - “Those are some Marines.”
(long pause)
Grant - “Do you think they found Nemo?”
(It took me a good two innings to put it together. If you’re struggling, say what Daddy said out loud.)
