Summer - 2007

Day

Journal

Lotsa of fun going on this summer.  We did the zoo and fair, just like every other year.  I started swimming, and baseball, and soccer, so pretty much every night was a busy one.

Biggest change – I’m starting preschool – hard to believe it’s kindergarten in a year.

You get two pages this update, one for the normal summer stuff, and another for my August trip back to San Diego.

← All sorts of stuff to learn….How to run the bases, how to hit, and which hand to put the glove on…

Once I figured out the glove thing, I REALLY like baseball.  →

← Soccer wasn’t quite as fun, but I still had a good time.

Lots of running, lots of resting.  →

← When I’m not out running, kicking, and hitting, Mommy and I like to go on nature walks.

We see lots of turtles, egrets, ducks, fishies, herons, geese, cardinals, blue jays, bunnies, and even a deer or two.  →

← I really enjoy just walking and talking with Mommy.  I always have fun.

Pretty sure he heard us coming.  →

← Daddy always makes sure I get quality zoo time.  Not too much time goes by between visits.  He understands – the animals miss me.

Always a fun hiding place to surprise Daddy.  →

← One day, we got a special tour of where the tigers sleep.  Daddy kept saying Wimoweh, but I didn’t get it. He gets his cats mixed up.

We all went to the fair – I got all the cream puffs I could eat.  →

← Lots of award-winning crowing.

Not too many worries about me getting anywhere near the glass.  →

← I’ve never seen Mommy happier – Deep Fried Oreos.

I tried one – I’m now a believer as well.  →

Then with Daddy  →

← The fair is fun, the food is good, I like the rides, and it’s a great way to end summer in Minnesota….

But it’s not Southern California!
