The big highlight, beside the trips to San Diego, was that I got to play T-BALL!  I LOVED playing – and couldn’t wait until the next game.  Mommy, Daddy, and both Grandparents thought there was a good bit of comedy to the season – apparently I had a good bit of enthusiasm that carried through each week.

There was the normal zoo, fair, skating, etc.  Even went to an Air show in Wisconsin (my first trip to Cheesatopia.)  The highlight might have been my first day of hockey, and all the fun putting on the pads.  I’m well protected.

The end of summer was another highlight – HOCKEY.  It’s all pretty new, but I just love it and can’t wait to get on the ice.  When I’m not skating with my team, I’m begging Mommy and Daddy to play hockey with me at home.

Daddy says I look like a real ballplayer.

When not playing baseball, we hung out at the zoo.

There’s a new bear and otter exhibit.

I saw some mice in the woods. 

Mooses?

Large woodland creatures.

And some old favorites.

I love the snow leopards!

I also got a new bike I’m learning to ride.  Mommy and I take walks in the afternoon.

Daddy and I got invited to wheelbarrow races at the racetrack. 

We finished second!

There were a couple of plays at school.  First, I was a macaw.

Then, a cobra.

We went to fair.  I got to ride the slide a couple of times.

First with Mommy.

Then with Daddy.

Fair means back-to-school.

My first day of Kindergarten!

We spent the first weekend of school at the air show.

I met the mini-weinermobile.

And tried on my pads for…

HOCKEY!

Of course, it’s not only hockey in my life.

Some trips to the zoo.

We got turtles.

And a funny tiger (he lost the battle with the wild turtle he’s playing with.)

I always see something new at the zoo.
